Biography

My artistic language is live music meeting images, engaging in dialogue with acoustic sound, shaped through sonic manipulation, expressed in a poem, and so on.
A window onto the world.
I love making music—living it, playing it, being among people, traveling, discovering. I listen to images, let myself be carried away, I invent. Through research, openness, and continuous dialogue, I explore alternative paths to free my sound, connecting it to deep and sincere images.

From classical and jazz piano studies with pianists and composers Massimo Mascherin, Juri Dal Dan, Gianpaolo Rinaldi, and Glauco Venier, to composition for cinema and silent film, at the “Fonoprint” recording studios in Bologna, the “San Fedele Foundation” in Milan, and the “Giornate del Cinema Muto” in Pordenone.

My live concert activity has led me to perform in Italy and abroad as a musician, film composer, and silent film performer, engaging with international audiences and prestigious cultural festivals. In 2024 and 2025, I took part in the “Giornate del Cinema Muto” in Pordenone and the “Nederland Silent Film Festival” in Eindhoven, performing solo piano and in trio with musicians and composers Jose M. Serraldez, Gunter Buchwald, Frank Bockius, and Dan Van Den Hurk. I am part of the “Soundtracks 2026” collective in Modena, collaborating with the artists Karim Qqru (“Zen Circus”) and “AnyOther” on the creation of cine-concerts for silent film, to be presented in historic venues and Italian festivals, including “Cinema Massimo“ in Turin, “Concorto Film Festival” in Piacenza, “Manifattura Tabacchi” in Firenze, and many others.

I am the pianist and composer for the experimental theatre company “Hellequin”, involved in numerous international live performances that combine artistic languages into new forms of theatrical expression.

I have composed original soundtracks for short films including “Tiber” by Stella Bossari, and “Usk” and “Keeb Saab Adesi” by Linda Maria Saar-the first screened in Estonia and the second winner of the “Forward is also my idea” competition for the Estonian magazine Edasi.org.

Alongside my work as a sideman for studio recordings, I play guitar and keyboards in the bands “Powernap” and “Pistacchi”, with whom I have released albums and EPs, in addition to numerous live performances.
